The Ministry of the Environment, in partnership with ADPP and OSS, will officially launch the CREW Project – Climate-Resilient Women – Angola at a ceremony scheduled for 26 January, in the municipality of Ondjiva, Cunene Province.
The CREW Angola Project, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), implemented by the Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS) as a Regional Accredited Entity and executed in partnership with ADPP Angola and the Ministry of Environment of Angola, aims to strengthen the climate resilience of rural communities in Cunene Province through a gender-transformative approach that brings together agriculture, environment, water, and nutrition.

The initiative primarily targets women and young people, with a particular focus on women-headed households, subsistence farmers and groups most exposed to the impacts of climate change. The project will also benefit families and communities more broadly, contributing to improved food and nutrition security and to the sustainable management of natural resources.
