Progress Report 2020

2021-04-01

We are excited and proud to release our Humana People to People Progress Report 2020, demonstrating the value of the work carried out by our members across the globe.

The report provides an insight into the work of Humana People to People and our 29 member associations over the past year, including our shared commitment to protect the planet, build communities and support people by connecting them with others, unleashing their potential for positive change and action.

The report tells how we responded to the urgency of three simultaneous and interrelated crises in the world: the Covid-19 pandemic, the surging inequality and the climate crisis. Our response was built on the solid foundation of our programmes and the countless groups of people who have acted together.

The report gives the word to a small selection of the 12 million people we have worked with. They tell their stories about being part of the development we have created together.

Our activities are aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda. Working side by side with people in their communities and our numerous partners, we support countries as they strive to meet the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, creating lasting positive change in the process.

This 2020 report covers the important work we’ve been undertaking across our five main programme themes: community development, sustainable agriculture and environment, health, education and the collection and sale of second-hand clothes.
