Fighting the Big Diseases

The big diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, cholera, various infections and diarrhea constitute threats to the lives of millions of people, and these diseases must be attacked from many different angles to diminish their consequences.

All projects working with the living conditions of the people are engaged in fighting the big diseases in one or many ways. This includes direct campaigns to prevent the diseases, long-term efforts to improve nutrition, improvement of water supplies and sanitation, and emergency actions in case of epidemics.
