Development through agriculture

FC112

In 2012, more than 68.200 farmers have been active in the Farmers’ Clubs program. They have improved their production, their food security, and their economy through their own and collective efforts. The program works with the farmers in organized groups called Farmers’ Clubs. The farmers work together and through the training and the practice that is incorporated in the program they make farm plans, use more productive and environment friendly methods, increase their cultivated land areas, introduce irrigation and improved seeds, process foods and market their products.

All this together has shown to have a positive effect on the production and on the life quality of the farmer families.
